We ordered soup with dumplings, salad, and Wiener schnitzel. The restaurant is located in the very center, and we had no problems sitting down during the day on a weekday. Usually, places like this cook mediocre food at inflated prices. Here, the price was indeed higher, but the taste was good. The soup with dumplings was a bit empty; apart from the dumplings, there wasn’t much else in it. The salad was good, with plenty of yogurt-vinegar dressing, which was tasty. The schnitzel was also good and served with lemon and cranberry jam. It was a large portion, but at a price of 28 euros, that was to be expected. The only thing that disappointed me was the pressure to leave a tip. We requested the bill, they brought the terminal, and said we could leave 10 or 20 percent for a tip. What do we choose? We left 10%. It's not that we minded the amount, but to me, this kind of pressure is unacceptable.

We sat outside. They brought our order to the street. Coffee with a glass of water, and 2 desserts. Yogurt cake and a cream-filled pastry. Surprisingly, the pastry was much tastier than the cake, although the cake was good too. The coffee is delicious.

We ordered Fritatensuppe and a large piece of beef like goulash with potatoes. I don't remember the name and it's not in the menu. The menu is written in chalk on a board. This board will be brought to your table. The selection is not large. There is a printed menu, but it only includes drinks and sauces. The soup is average, standard like everywhere. The meat is great. The portion is large. The piece is without streaks and fat. It is served with potatoes. The establishment is family-oriented. The food is fresh. The interior is old, authentically Austrian. It is one of the few places with a good rating and a lot of reviews. The service is pushy. While you were eating, the owner of the establishment who is also the waiter came over to talk about three times. He didn't let you think clearly about your choice. They only accept cash.

Gasthaus Kohlhof Abtenau

We ordered Fleischkrapfen with sauerkraut, a soup whose name I don't remember, but it is listed in the menu as a soup for those who are very hungry (costing 10 euros). We also ordered a salad, or a set of salads. A bowl of leafy greens and additionally their potato salad. We ordered 2 cups of tea, and for dessert, Kaiserschmarrn. The soup was presented in a large cup, not much broth, and two dumplings. Two balls, one with meat/bread/and a little cheese inside. The second one had liver/bread. One could even say that the two bread balls had meat and liver added. The dish doesn't seem that big, but it is indeed very filling. The salad was tasty, but ordinary. Even the strange potato salad with vinegar and onions turned out to be quite good. Fleischkrapfen with sauerkraut had beef inside the pastry. The meat was quite dry, but this dish is served with an unusual sauce. It's a buttery-honey sauce. It tastes very strange, but when added to the dish, it combines wonderfully. I would even order this dish a second time if I came back. The dish is served with cabbage. I didn't like the cabbage. It was sour, hot, in general not very pleasant for me. We took the Kaiserschmarrn home since we were full and could no longer eat anything more. After cooling down, Kaiserschmarrn is not as tasty anymore. It must be eaten right away. I liked the restaurant. Very friendly staff, delicious dishes. Prices are reasonable. But perhaps the main thing is the view from the restaurant, or what can be seen from the terrace. The whole city is laid out before you. It is worth coming here, and also eating deliciously. The road to the restaurant is single-lane, uphill, and not fenced. You drive along a cliff. Moreover, the traffic is two-way. When a car comes towards you, you have to back up and look for a ledge where you can stop to let the oncoming traffic pass. I can't imagine how people drive there in winter. But the place and the restaurant are worth it.

They only accept cash. The buns are very tasty. We took 2 buns, Obstplunder and Zimtschnecke Lotus-Caramel. And also 2 coffees. The pastry is very delicious. The Lotus-Caramel has a sprinkle like gingerbread biscoff, with cinnamon and cream inside. It's not dry. The coffee is mediocre.

One of the few places that was open despite the holiday. We ordered 2 cakes and 2 coffees. The coffee is very tasty. The cakes are rich, an acquired taste. One is a coffee cake with chewy meringue. The second one is dry, despite a large amount of cream. It's not amazing, but it's not terrible either. Good for one time. There were many people, perhaps because almost everything else is closed. Overall, it's worth coming to try different types of cakes. You might find something you like.

Restaurant Der Stadtwirt

We ordered 2 soups, Klare Rindsuppe mit Frittaten, Kärntner Kasnudeln, Wiener Schnitzel, a large mixed salad bowl, homemade lemonade, and apple strudel. We waited about 20 minutes for each course. The soup was average. During a week of traveling in Austria, I had tasted better soup. The broth was not rich, it was just like water with a Maggi bouillon cube. When broth is cooked with meat, it always has fatty traces. It does not look like water with beef flavor. I had something similar a few days ago in a remote village in a small diner, but not in a restaurant. The schnitzel was tasty. It was evenly cooked, and the breading was also uniform. It was well pounded, and the meat was tender. The Kärntner Kasnudeln was filled with ricotta, cottage cheese, and I think there was a bit of potato as well. It was delicious. The strudel was ordinary, like everywhere else. It was apple strudel. It was served with cream from a can. The salad was typical. It felt like a supermarket mix in a clear plastic container. Since I travel a lot, I often buy it. It had lettuce leaves, corn, beans, and carrots. And very, very much vinaigrette dressing. There was so much that by the end, the leftovers were just floating in the dressing. Despite being well mixed, at times the salad seemed frankly sour. The lemonade was mediocre. Mineral water, lemon juice, a mint leaf, and some red syrup. Not tasty. I have mixed feelings about the restaurant. If you know which dishes to order, you can eat well. Half of the dishes were disappointing. Prices were like everywhere else. I would return if it were like this time, with all the other places closed, but I would try something different.

We had a pistachio croissant, something else, and coffee. The croissant is tasty, buttery, but almost without filling. Yes, there is some, but very little. The coffee is mediocre.

We ordered soup - galaschsuppe, trout - Kärntner Forelle, berry lemonade - him beer soda. The fish was fried in oil, the vegetables too. The fish was ordinary in taste, nothing special. The soup was tasty, rich, hearty, just a typical goulash, but in the form of soup. Delicious. I didn't really like the drink. Just regular carbonated water, but with a little syrup added. I wouldn't order it again. I also ordered dessert - apple strudel. We finished the main courses and waited for 25 minutes for them to clear the dishes and bring the strudel. The dishes were cleared. After 10 minutes, the waitress came and asked if we needed anything else. We said we were still waiting for the dessert) we laughed. The strudel is tasty. The ice cream is tasty. Overall, the establishment is good. They cook deliciously. Prices are like everywhere. A family business like many places.

Found it based on reviews on the way to the mountains. The rating on Google was good, about 4.6. We entered it in the navigator and quickly found it. A standalone building with a small parking lot. Inside, there are 2 halls with 4 and 3 large tables. Each table can accommodate 5-6 people. Everything was occupied except one table. We ordered 2 soups: Frittatensuppe and Steirischer Suppentopf, 2 salads, and an apple strudel. The first soup was just a mess of pancakes, the second soup had frozen vegetables from a packet bought at the supermarket, noodles, and thin slices of beef. Both soups had a weak broth. The first one was transparent like water, in the second one it was obvious that the meat had been boiled, though not for long, there were small spots of fat. Nevertheless, it feels like it was just made with a Maggi broth cube (by the way, they have Maggi ads on the tables). The portions of soup were large, but I can't say they were super tasty. There was no strudel on the menu, we asked, and they said there was. The 2 salads were just terrible. Kartoffelsalat is just boiled potatoes, onions, and a lot of vinegar. Impossible to eat. Gemischter Salat is a mix of vegetables drenched in some vinegary dressing. As it turned out later, they were floating in some unclear sour liquid. We didn't even finish the salads. The strudel was about a 7 out of 10. I liked it. They don't accept cards, only cash. As a knowledgeable person said - this is typical Austrian cuisine. If so, I don't like Austrian cuisine.

Arrived on May 8. Not too many people. There is a menu in English. There is a waitress who speaks English. I ordered one soup, slow-cooked broth with meat. Very delicious. The broth has a rich beef flavor. The color is transparent. Ingredients include meat, carrots, greens, and pancake noodles. There may be a bit too little beef, but the soup is tasty. We also ordered homemade lemonade. 0.5 liters. Cold. Not sweet. Mango passion fruit. Not on the menu. I also had a dish from the special menu Hovezi thane maso. A large portion of stewed beef. French fries and coleslaw. Tasty. The beef is spicy. The potatoes are fresh, just from the fryer. The salad let down all the dishes. Too much mayonnaise, and with a strange taste. I didn't eat the salad. We also had fish: butter-roasted salmon. The fish is tasty. The asparagus had a strange flavor. We had dessert. Chocolate fondant. Not tasty. In fact, it's something like brownie, on cherry jam. Overall not bad, but not what you expect, and very small. I wouldn't order it again. The place is nice, I would go back there. It also has a good rating on Google.

I constantly have lunch here, it's very tasty. Pad Thai with chicken, beef with cinnamon in sauce and + additionally jasmine rice. Brought in 15 minutes, everything is hot. Pad Thai portion is large. There are stains on the table from the plates, but it’s not dirt, it feels like it’s from the heat. It doesn’t wipe off. The restroom is clean, but there are no hand napkins. Good place, I recommend!

Banh Mi & Pho

We ordered pad thai with chicken and beef with vegetables. Self-service. You have to order it yourself at the counter. They made it quickly, in about 10 minutes. They probably would bring it, but I picked it up myself at the counter where I ordered it. The portion of pad thai is large. The beef portion is standard. Overall, the pad thai is not bad; for the price of 34 zlotys, it's a large portion with a lot of chicken. The beef cost 39 zlotys. But it wasn't very good. The meat was tough. The sauce was unclear. I would take the pad thai a second time, but not the beef. Overall, it's clean and pleasant. The establishment is in demand, with many delivery drivers and a lot of people in the dining area.

Fit cake

Sorry for the photo, we thought of taking a picture too late :) A pastry shop for proper nutrition. Everything is sugar-free. We took 2 desserts: bounty and salted caramel. The bounty consists of cottage cheese with coconut topping. Naturally, it’s not sweet. It feels like you’re just eating cottage cheese from the supermarket, with no additives. A strange feeling) the cookie at the bottom is also tasteless. The second dessert is salted caramel. It is more delicious than the previous one. It is based on mascarpone. On top, there is a dense cap with caramel taste. I could take it a second time.

I was once at this restaurant, everything was more delicious. The delivery wasn't very good. The draniki were fried in old oil, and you can feel it in the taste. The żurek is tasty, but the portion is not big. The pork is delicious, the portion is large, the pieces are big, and there is a lot of sauce, the bread is tasty and fresh. Overall, not bad, but very greasy. The draniki let them down.

This is the worst burrito of my life. I ordered 2 for delivery, one with chicken and one with beef. The chicken flavor is average, but the beef is terrible. There isn’t as much beef as it seems in the photo, although there’s not much in the photo either. But the worst part is that they added mango to the beef burrito. It's a terrible combination. The chicken burrito has a lot of chicken. It seems like there’s sauce, but it turned out to be some dry. We won’t order again.

We ordered pad thai for delivery. One with chicken and one with beef. The quality is good. It arrived hot. I liked the one with chicken more. In the beef portion, the pieces of beef were cut very thin, and almost all of it was hard to chew. The pieces themselves felt like they were just scraps from the store. Chicken is great, but we won't take beef again.
