Marlenka. Honey Cake
I bought it at the Kaufland store. As with all Marlenka products, everything is very delicious. The soft, tender biscuit has a vibrant honey flavor. It's a classic homemade cake, 'Medovik'. It cost 12 zlotys for 100 grams. It's expensive, but tasty. Overall, all products from this company are pricey, but everything is always delicious.

So, we ended up at this hotel through a travel agency. We booked a tour on a last-minute deal, so it turned out quite cheap. I had accommodation with an All Inclusive option. Besides breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there were also drinks at the bar, by the pool, and at the rooftop bar of the hotel. The room itself was good, but quite simple. Upon check-in, my room category was upgraded for free - from a standard room to a junior suite on the first floor. To be honest, this junior suite seemed pretty small to me. It had a balcony with sun loungers, but it turned out to be full of trash: dust, leaves, and some dry branches from trees. In the end, we never rested there, even though there were loungers. And there wasn't much desire to sunbathe because the balcony of the second floor blocked out the sun from above. You could lie down, but there was practically no sunshine. The room had a spacious bathroom with a large bathtub, a separate shower, and two sinks. Overall, the room corresponded well to four stars. Everything was generally fine, but the hotel itself is a bit worn out and looks somewhat old in places. It was not far to the sea - about a 10-minute walk. This was not a hassle at all because the path was straight and led down to the beach. Regarding the food, I had heard a lot about this hotel, and many said that the food was monotonous here. Perhaps, if you were to stay for two or three weeks, it might seem that way. But I was there for eight days, and during that time, the menu was different every day. Of course, there were breakfast dishes that repeated. This is a standard story: porridge, dairy products, fried eggs, omelets, and everything else that is usually found at breakfasts. Yes, breakfasts were indeed very similar to each other, but it seems to me that this is the case almost everywhere. Lunches, however, were very diverse. There were always several types of pizza, and it turned out to be really delicious. I'm generally not a fan of pizza, but here it was excellent: thin crust and lots of filling. Before the trip, I read many reviews praising it, and it turned out to be absolutely true. In addition, there was a huge amount of snacks, vegetables, fruits, fried and stewed meats. Fish, beef, and pork were grilled. In general, the food was very varied. Dinner had its own theme every day. For example, one evening was dedicated to Mexican cuisine: various bean snacks, spicy dishes, guacamole. In addition to the main assortment, there were themed tables with dishes. There were Turkish evenings with traditional dishes, Spanish dinners with ham, paella, and other national cuisines. By the way, paella was practically available every evening, in my opinion. Overall, the food was excellent. There was also ice cream, but it was only served at lunch and dinner. It was not available for breakfast. The only thing I didn’t like was the desserts. Almost all of them were very fatty, with the same cream, and too sweet. Finding something truly tasty for me turned out to be difficult. On the other hand, the kids were in complete delight. The more sugar, cream, and chocolate - the better. The selection of sweets was huge, but personally, I can’t highlight anything among the desserts except for the ice cream. The ice cream was indeed very tasty. There were big containers with different flavors, and you could serve yourself as much as you wanted. In the evenings, there was an entertainment program. I can't say that I liked it very much or found it very interesting, but it was perfectly fine for a change. If you enjoy spending the evening by the pool with a drink, then watching a show would probably be enjoyable. Personally, I found it not very interesting. Overall, I liked the hotel. I can't name any serious drawbacks. They cleaned every day, regularly changed bed linens and towels. Overall, everything was good. For entertainment, there was table hockey, several children's arcade machines, and billiards. All of this was for an additional fee - about one to two euros. The internet turned out to be weak. It only worked well early in the morning and late in the evening. During the day, apparently due to high demand, the speed dropped significantly, and using the internet was not very comfortable until about nine or ten in the evening. After that, everything worked fine again. Overall, the hotel is not bad, and I might consider returning here. Although, most likely, I would choose a different hotel, just to try something new. I really liked the place in Mallorca: a small resort village, a clean beach, a wide coastline, and a beautiful promenade. For this place, I would definitely return. But if there were no available places in other hotels, I would gladly stay here again.

We took a long time to choose a hotel. It took us several days, and once again, while opening the hotel aggregator website, we stumbled upon this hotel at a very attractive price. We immediately booked a room with breakfast. Judging by the reviews, the hotel offered good breakfasts and nice rooms. In addition, it had five stars, as well as paid parking. Upon arriving at the hotel around 5 PM, we were unable to access the garage, and this was the first adventure that awaited us. When we approached the reception and checked in, we were told that there were no spaces in the garage, and we were offered to park wherever we could find a spot on the street. We started searching for a spot, but even on the street everything was taken. Cars were parked everywhere: on the sidewalks, at the curbs, on the driveways, at the turns, under the bridge at the entrance - literally everywhere. In the end, we found one spot at the entrance to the hotel, at the turn under the bridge. There was a small free area, and we squeezed in there somehow. Jumping ahead, I should mention that in the morning, behind us, there was already a whole pile of cars. This line of vehicles stretched out of the hotel. In general, parking here is a problem: if you are lucky, you park; if not, you will be searching for a spot for a long time. Upon check-in, we were given a bottle of wine. We don't drink wine, but we took the gift anyway. Upon entering the room, we saw a very, very old interior. Let’s go through it in order. The shower looked nice, but it was heavily worn out. Somewhere it was repainted, somewhere it was patched up, somewhere it was taped. The showerhead wouldn’t stay in place. When turned on, water splashed in all directions, and if you tried to hang the showerhead on the mount, it constantly fell off. The bathtub was nice, long, and you could lie comfortably in it. But here too, the coating looked old. Now about the room itself. The carpet was heavily worn in the middle - where people usually walk. There was almost no pile left; it was completely trampled down. The air conditioner worked, but it was very noisy and looked quite old. The windows didn’t open, probably for safety reasons. The view from the window was nice, but the windows themselves were very dirty. Next to the bed were lamps that had built-in sockets. But there was one strange feature: if you wanted to charge your phone, you had to turn on the lamp. So either you have the light on and your phone charges, or there is no light and the phone doesn’t charge. A very strange solution; I don’t understand why they did it this way. Overall, this hotel doesn’t deserve five stars. I would give it three, maybe four stars at most. It was probably very good once, but over time it has worn out a lot and now needs serious repairs. The breakfast was decent. Not excellent, but quite acceptable. There were cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms - in short, a standard set. Will I stay here next time? I don’t know. I doubt it. If there is absolutely nowhere else to stay, then maybe I will choose it again. But knowing this hotel, I would most likely look for something else.

Open from early morning. There is a large selection, and prices are low. There are no power outlets at the tables. They do not brew coffee; there is a simple coffee machine. There is no place to return trays and plates. After eating, you leave it on the table. There were no waiters. A girl who was standing by the cash register cleaned up. We had a croissant and a cinnamon roll, something like a Cinnabon, but with pistachio paste on top. The croissant was with Nutella. Overall tasty and simple. I can't say it's super, but it's fine for breakfast.

We ordered soup with dumplings, salad, and Wiener schnitzel. The restaurant is located in the very center, and we had no problems sitting down during the day on a weekday. Usually, places like this cook mediocre food at inflated prices. Here, the price was indeed higher, but the taste was good. The soup with dumplings was a bit empty; apart from the dumplings, there wasn’t much else in it. The salad was good, with plenty of yogurt-vinegar dressing, which was tasty. The schnitzel was also good and served with lemon and cranberry jam. It was a large portion, but at a price of 28 euros, that was to be expected. The only thing that disappointed me was the pressure to leave a tip. We requested the bill, they brought the terminal, and said we could leave 10 or 20 percent for a tip. What do we choose? We left 10%. It's not that we minded the amount, but to me, this kind of pressure is unacceptable.

Mango-flavored ice cream. Beautiful coating on top. Inside is creamy ice cream with a bright mango flavor. I liked it very much, although the others said that the ice cream was a bit greasy. Interesting packaging, which consists of several parts. Convenient to hold by the stick, and if it starts to melt, it won't dirty your hands.

We sat outside. They brought our order to the street. Coffee with a glass of water, and 2 desserts. Yogurt cake and a cream-filled pastry. Surprisingly, the pastry was much tastier than the cake, although the cake was good too. The coffee is delicious.

We ordered Fritatensuppe and a large piece of beef like goulash with potatoes. I don't remember the name and it's not in the menu. The menu is written in chalk on a board. This board will be brought to your table. The selection is not large. There is a printed menu, but it only includes drinks and sauces. The soup is average, standard like everywhere. The meat is great. The portion is large. The piece is without streaks and fat. It is served with potatoes. The establishment is family-oriented. The food is fresh. The interior is old, authentically Austrian. It is one of the few places with a good rating and a lot of reviews. The service is pushy. While you were eating, the owner of the establishment who is also the waiter came over to talk about three times. He didn't let you think clearly about your choice. They only accept cash.

This is an apartment in a two-story building. The room is combined with the kitchen. There is a bedroom. And a bathroom combined with a toilet. There is modern and fresh renovation everywhere. A large terrace can be accessed from both rooms. The terrace has everything for relaxation. The plasma panel is large, modern, Samsung. The kitchen has everything necessary, even a coffee machine and about 10 capsules. We were two for a week. The number of capsules may vary. There is a small bottle of prosecco in the fridge, probably as a gift) We don't drink, so we didn't take it. The shower is good; there is a regular shower and a tropical shower. There are 2 types of lighting and ventilation. Everything is new and modern. In the bedroom, the blinds open, close, and are raised automatically. They are adjustable according to the needs of the tenants. Very modern design; the photos don’t convey this. It is clear that the apartment was made as if for themselves. The owners take care of the property. There is parking in the open area. It belongs to the hotel, but it is open, without a fence. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. The view from the street of the hotel is also nice. We are satisfied. An excellent place. It is unlikely you will find better in this region. The only downside is the check-in. I booked through a banking app since I had accumulated points, and it was cheaper. There was no information about check-in. There is no reception. We arrived, and the door was closed. We started walking around, and by chance, the mother of the owners came out of the neighboring house. She immediately understood that we were looking for something and led us to our apartment/room. Inside, all the information is already there. Perhaps if you book through Booking, the check-in will be different. The price on Booking is 3300 zlotys for a week. Through Revolut, it cost 2700 zlotys using points.

We ordered Fleischkrapfen with sauerkraut, a soup whose name I don't remember, but it is listed in the menu as a soup for those who are very hungry (costing 10 euros). We also ordered a salad, or a set of salads. A bowl of leafy greens and additionally their potato salad. We ordered 2 cups of tea, and for dessert, Kaiserschmarrn. The soup was presented in a large cup, not much broth, and two dumplings. Two balls, one with meat/bread/and a little cheese inside. The second one had liver/bread. One could even say that the two bread balls had meat and liver added. The dish doesn't seem that big, but it is indeed very filling. The salad was tasty, but ordinary. Even the strange potato salad with vinegar and onions turned out to be quite good. Fleischkrapfen with sauerkraut had beef inside the pastry. The meat was quite dry, but this dish is served with an unusual sauce. It's a buttery-honey sauce. It tastes very strange, but when added to the dish, it combines wonderfully. I would even order this dish a second time if I came back. The dish is served with cabbage. I didn't like the cabbage. It was sour, hot, in general not very pleasant for me. We took the Kaiserschmarrn home since we were full and could no longer eat anything more. After cooling down, Kaiserschmarrn is not as tasty anymore. It must be eaten right away. I liked the restaurant. Very friendly staff, delicious dishes. Prices are reasonable. But perhaps the main thing is the view from the restaurant, or what can be seen from the terrace. The whole city is laid out before you. It is worth coming here, and also eating deliciously. The road to the restaurant is single-lane, uphill, and not fenced. You drive along a cliff. Moreover, the traffic is two-way. When a car comes towards you, you have to back up and look for a ledge where you can stop to let the oncoming traffic pass. I can't imagine how people drive there in winter. But the place and the restaurant are worth it.

They only accept cash. The buns are very tasty. We took 2 buns, Obstplunder and Zimtschnecke Lotus-Caramel. And also 2 coffees. The pastry is very delicious. The Lotus-Caramel has a sprinkle like gingerbread biscoff, with cinnamon and cream inside. It's not dry. The coffee is mediocre.

One of the few places that was open despite the holiday. We ordered 2 cakes and 2 coffees. The coffee is very tasty. The cakes are rich, an acquired taste. One is a coffee cake with chewy meringue. The second one is dry, despite a large amount of cream. It's not amazing, but it's not terrible either. Good for one time. There were many people, perhaps because almost everything else is closed. Overall, it's worth coming to try different types of cakes. You might find something you like.

The ice cream is small but tasty. It feels like you're eating chocolate. I bought it mainly because of my love for Toblerone, and out of curiosity to try it in the form of ice cream. Chocolate ice cream in chocolate glaze with nut sprinkles. Very sweet, a lot of nuts, all in their style. Delicious.

We ordered 2 soups, Klare Rindsuppe mit Frittaten, Kärntner Kasnudeln, Wiener Schnitzel, a large mixed salad bowl, homemade lemonade, and apple strudel. We waited about 20 minutes for each course. The soup was average. During a week of traveling in Austria, I had tasted better soup. The broth was not rich, it was just like water with a Maggi bouillon cube. When broth is cooked with meat, it always has fatty traces. It does not look like water with beef flavor. I had something similar a few days ago in a remote village in a small diner, but not in a restaurant. The schnitzel was tasty. It was evenly cooked, and the breading was also uniform. It was well pounded, and the meat was tender. The Kärntner Kasnudeln was filled with ricotta, cottage cheese, and I think there was a bit of potato as well. It was delicious. The strudel was ordinary, like everywhere else. It was apple strudel. It was served with cream from a can. The salad was typical. It felt like a supermarket mix in a clear plastic container. Since I travel a lot, I often buy it. It had lettuce leaves, corn, beans, and carrots. And very, very much vinaigrette dressing. There was so much that by the end, the leftovers were just floating in the dressing. Despite being well mixed, at times the salad seemed frankly sour. The lemonade was mediocre. Mineral water, lemon juice, a mint leaf, and some red syrup. Not tasty. I have mixed feelings about the restaurant. If you know which dishes to order, you can eat well. Half of the dishes were disappointing. Prices were like everywhere else. I would return if it were like this time, with all the other places closed, but I would try something different.

We ordered soup - galaschsuppe, trout - Kärntner Forelle, berry lemonade - him beer soda. The fish was fried in oil, the vegetables too. The fish was ordinary in taste, nothing special. The soup was tasty, rich, hearty, just a typical goulash, but in the form of soup. Delicious. I didn't really like the drink. Just regular carbonated water, but with a little syrup added. I wouldn't order it again. I also ordered dessert - apple strudel. We finished the main courses and waited for 25 minutes for them to clear the dishes and bring the strudel. The dishes were cleared. After 10 minutes, the waitress came and asked if we needed anything else. We said we were still waiting for the dessert) we laughed. The strudel is tasty. The ice cream is tasty. Overall, the establishment is good. They cook deliciously. Prices are like everywhere. A family business like many places.
