The town is small. We were looking for Czech cuisine and found nothing in the center. The only thing that caught our eye was Shrek's restaurant. We came at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, and already half the seats were taken. By 11:30, everything outside was occupied. The place is definitely popular despite the old tables and overall not super clean environment. As for the dishes.. There are daily specials. There is a drinks menu and a main menu. We chose 2 dishes, chicken under spinach and salmon. For the sides, we picked boiled potatoes and French fries. Regarding the chicken, the portion is large. It is seasoned and marinated. Topped with bacon, spinach, and cheese. And everything is baked. The dish is very fatty. Overall not bad. The fries were fresh, and there was a small portion of salad. It would have been better if they had replaced some of the potatoes with more salad. The salmon was ordinary. Just salmon with boiled potatoes. The waiter does not speak English and does not speak Polish either. Would I come back here again? I don't know. If there are no other options, then it is worth a visit. I wouldn't come here on purpose. Update: when we settled the bill, it turned out that the side dish they offered us was at an extra charge. That is, the dishes on the menu apparently do not include a side. I will change my rating, as the price for this meal turned out to be, in my opinion, inflated.
